Casting

Casting, when casting for our opening sequence that we are going to be making, we have to chose the appropriate characters to fit the roles, firstly we need someone to be playing the lead role, we have chosen one of our group members called Jamie to fulfil this role, because he has the appropriate items of clothing already for the costume and he feels comfortable and willing to act in front of a camera. However when casting for the other roles we are going to look for members outside of our group, we need to find three more people, one being a bully, for casting the bully we want someone who may come across as not shy and a popular person in the school this is so the role can be fulfilled correctly. The other two characters that we are going to need, need to possibly look older than Jamie or are older, this is because the characters are based upon two grown men in suits that may come across as intimidating.

Main Character: Is a gothic teenage boy who isolates himself from society, and others around him, even when he is at home. He hasn't got many friends and comes across as your average teenage boy in school. However when he is out of school he changes into his gothic clothes and meets his other goth friends. The gothic items of clothing make the character feel comfortable similar to having a hidden identity. Below you can see the character of the goth teenager

Bully: The bully isn't a major role in the opening sequence, because we only see him once during the sequence, we are looking for someone who will be able to come across as the 'Cool kid' in the school and is intimidating towards the main character, we have not yet cast this role.

The two men in suits: For this role we are looking for two males, who appear older than they actually are they have to be able to have suits, and need to look as though they are mysterious, this is an important role within our opening sequence so we have to be careful on who we select.
